Not investment advice

Everything on this site, the articles, the tools, and any words on any page, is a collection of how-to guides and public information for learning only. It is not investment advice, financial advice, legal advice, or tax advice. We are not licensed advisors. Make any investment decision based on your own research and your own tolerance for risk, and consult a licensed professional where you need one.

The risk in crypto

Crypto prices swing hard, and a sharp drop over a short stretch is normal rather than a surprise, so you can lose all of the money you put in. Leverage and futures magnify losses and can wipe you out faster than you expect. Stablecoins carry their own risks too, including depegging and issuer risk. Only use money you can genuinely afford to lose, and treat any claim of "you can't lose", "returns guaranteed", or "high yield, no risk" with maximum suspicion. No description of returns anywhere on this site is a promise.

Timeliness and accuracy

We do our best to check what we write, but a trading platform's fee rates, rules, and interface can change at any time, and an article can go out of date after we publish it. For anything about fees, limits, or timing, the live Binance page is what governs. If you find a mistake, write to [email protected], and once we have confirmed it we will fix it and log it on the Corrections page. We take no responsibility for any loss arising from reliance on the content here.

What the tools can and cannot do

The calculators here are simplified models: the fee calculator ignores slippage, the liquidation calculator leaves out margin tiers and funding rates, and the price converter's numbers are for reference only. The real figures are whatever Binance's interface shows, and a tool's output is not a basis for any trade.

The laws where you live

How crypto is regulated varies enormously from one country or region to the next, and it changes often. Before you use Binance or take part in any crypto trading, check the laws and regulations where you live for yourself. Complying with your local rules is your own responsibility. We do not provide any way for users in restricted areas to get around regulation.
