What it can and cannot tell you
What it can tell you: how much this DCA plan costs in total if you stick with it, roughly how much the fees eat, and the net amount that actually goes into buying. If you fill in an assumed average price, it also works out how much you would accumulate under that assumption. Note that the average is your assumption; the tool makes no price prediction.
What it cannot tell you: what any of it will be worth later. Any formula that extrapolates a past annual return into "DCA for X years and earn Y%" is misleading you, and we do not build that. Dollar-cost averaging smooths your buy-in cost; it does not guarantee a profit, and if the market drops you still lose. That comes first.
