Let us put it plainly: this site has commercial income, and it comes from Binance's referral program. This page explains how that works and what it means for you.
Which links are affiliate links?
Any link on this site that points to Binance's sign-up page and carries our referral code (ref=BN03688) is an affiliate link. That includes the "Sign Up on Binance" buttons on the home page and in articles, the referral-code cards, and the text links in the body that lead to sign-up. All of them are marked rel="sponsored" as they should be. Ordinary reference links to Binance's help center, fee pages, and other official information do not carry the code and are not affiliate links.
How does the referral work?
When you register with Binance through our referral code, Binance passes us a share of your trading fees as commission and gives you a fee discount at the same time. The money comes out of Binance's marketing budget, not out of your pocket on top.
What does it mean for you?
Registering through our referral code costs you nothing extra. On the contrary, it gets you 20% off your trading fees (the actual rate is whatever the Binance sign-up page shows at the time, and can change with their policy). You can register with Binance without a referral code just fine, you simply miss this discount. Whether to use it is your call.
Does the commission bias our content?
We try hard not to let it. In practice: the risk warnings stay in (our futures articles spend the whole piece talking people out of it), the platform's problems get reported (our Is Binance Safe? article lists the past incidents and fines), and comparison pieces are written to the facts (in Binance vs OKX we own up to the referral relationship). The final judgment is yours to make, so do not put money in just because a website recommended it.
